  In his book Principals and Methods of Sterilization in Health Sciences (Published by Charles Thomas Publishing, Springfield, Ill.) John Perkins shows clearly three different strains of B.anthracis and the most resilient is killed at 212F in 15 minutes. When we sterilize we use 273F and the process is much quicker.
