Position: Controller

Prestigious privately-held distributor and manufacturing firm located in central Nassau , is seeking a hands-on Controller to run accounting and financial functions for this growing company.

Responsibilities include the following:

-Develop and implement (or modified existing) accounting policies, procedures, practices and controls
-Manage internal bookkeeping. Oversight responsibilities for A/R, A/P, Payroll and HR functions
-Oversee billings and collections
-Daily cash management
-Assist in preparation of annual budget
-Prepare actual to budget variance analysis
-Tax return review, filing and compliance
-Oversee office management
-Implement cost controls
-Job costing analysis

Job Requirements

-BA/BS in Accounting
-5-10 years previous related experience in a manufacturing and a distribution a plus
-Expert knowledge of Excel and Word
-Knowledge of accounting package used in manufacturing and distribution (i.e. SBT) helpful
-Excellent verbal and written communication skill desired
