STATIM 2000, the one and only 6 minute (Statim 5000 9 minutes) steam sterilizer. A Cassette system. The STATIM cassette autoclave features an automatic forced-air cooldown, to eliminate post-cycle corrosion. And since it uses fresh distilled water each time, there is no baked-on residue anywhere. Instruments come out clean and dry. Steam is being injected into the cassette (where your instruments are inserted). It takes 3 minutes to heat up, and 30 seconds to vent the steam out at the end of the cycle. Statim 2000 6 min. cycle unwrapped / 12 min. wrapped. It means fewer instrument sets required. Add 3 minutes for the Statim 5000.
