Back to ... autoclave sterilizer autoclaves sterilizers

I started repairing sterilizers serving the medical, dental, veterinary and podiatry markets back in 1974. I incorporated Alfa in 1975 in San Francisco, sold it, moved to New York, and incorporated Alfa Medical in 1986. Since then Alfa has grown to become the recognized expert on sterilizers.

Being in this business for so many years, we understand how important it is to recommend the proper type of sterilizer to accommodate your needs.

In 1987, Alfa began its complete restoration of the Pelton & Crane OCM and OCR sterilizers . One of the most noteworthy improvements Alfa made to this product is the automatic shut off and vent mechanism. This simple modification to the Pelton and Crane OCM and OCR models, was acceptable so well, that this improvement without a doubt was the reason for Alfa growth, and recognition in the Dental, Medical, and Veterinarian markets.

Everybody had a Pelton and Crane, and failing mainly from chambers cracking up because of no automatic shut off and venting mechanism.

Here is what some of our customers are saying about us rebuilding their Pelton and Crane OCM / OCR sterilizers:
In August of 1998 , I found Alfa on the internet. I always call the company I want to business with when I find them on the web. I feel more comfortable that way. I did the same with Alfa. They were very pleasant on the phone, and eager to please me.

I sent them my Pelton and Crane OCR+ to be rebuilt. The sterilizer came back in a great shape, clean looking and working the best ever.

I then had sent them my other Pelton & Crane OCR+ sterilizer to have that one rebuilt also. They both are working fantastic.

Any time I need a part, I call Alfa, and they are there ready to help.

My Pelton & Crane sterilizer OCM broke down. I was about to throw it away and buy a new one.
At the American Dental Association (ADA) convention, I looked around at different sterilizer companies. When I stopped by Alfa's booth, I was very happily surprised to find out that my Pelton & Crane could be restored to look like new.

In addition to looking like new, Alfa installed automatic shut off and automatic vent mechanism which saves us time and avoids having to worry whether the sterilizer needs to be shut off or not. It does it by itself. This is another one of those decision that I made which I am very happy about.

When the Pelton & Crane Validator began to have electrical failures, Alfa converted this unit to a manual system, extending the life of this sterilizer, and eliminating thousands of dollars of repair bills.

Here is what some of our customers are saying about us rebuilding their Pelton and Crane Validators:
"I have always appreciated Alfa's courteous and expedient service"

I met Alfa at the Yankee dental meeting in 1990. I wasn't sure if and when I will need them, but in 1995 I called because my Pelton & Crane Validator 8 needed to be repaired.

They were so fast responding to my needs, and so helpful on the phone, that I decided to have them rebuild my sterilizer.

It has been working great, and every time when I call them for service or support, I get such a great feeling that I made the right choice and decision.

We had many local service companies try to repair our Pelton and Crane Validator. The repair bills were piling up. As a last resort, So in 1995, I decided after reading what Alfa's doing to the Validator (convert it to manual), to give them a chance.

Alfa technical and customer support are really supportive, and they always have an answer to any question I have. I am so happy that I made the decision to have Alfa rebuild my Pelton & Crane Validator sterilizer.

Today, Pelton and Crane is manufacturing the Delta sterilizers, which is the latest version, and they are working great!

In 1994, Alfa signed an agreement with Prestige Medical of England to import their products exclusively for the Tattoo, Body Piercing and Beauty markets.

In 1996, Alfa acquired the Worlds' Fastest Dry Heat Sterilizer... " The Cox Sterilizer ", and began manufacturing it in its New York facilities.

In the summer of 1999, Alfa purchased Vernitron four product lines. All of them are Steam autoclaves. For the first 6 months of operation, Alfa modified 1 of the 4 products, and are about ready to start production. Shipment forcast is for the early part of 2005.

Alfa's basic philosophy is this:

Whenever a problem comes up, an Alfa Medical technician is there to offer you FREE telephone consultation to evaluate and correct both simple and complicated issues.

Alfa's goal is to lead, to advise, and to serve you ... the customer, and to give you the most complete and un-biased recommendation as far as the best ways to use sterilizers and to bring about the outcome...the advantage...the result you want, need and desire.

In a nutshell, it's not about how great our company is, or how great we are as professionals...it's about how the sterilizers we manufacture and distribute will benefit your life, your business practice, or customers, and what advantages and protection it will give you.

With that in mind, contact Alfa today if you have a need to repair your sterilizer, or if you want to purchase a new or pre owned sterilizer.

When you call us, you'll discover why thousands of satisfied customers are still counting on us as their "Sterilizer Experts".

Sincerely,

Shlomo Savyon - Founder
